Ever since I've had my first experience with a camera, I have been in love with it.

It all started when I had my first digital camera. I have enjoyed the company with that little trusty thing until I finally got my dream camera. From then on, I have taken photos of about anything. I have attempted and has been victorious of making a mundane and simple objects into interesting pieces. And from there, the rest is history.

I have been shooting primarily for my daughter. As a first time mother, all I want is to document every facial expressions and all other FIRST THINGS that she has done. I wanted to keep it so as by the time she grows up, I have something to hold on to and reminisce. Photographing my daughter has always been a joy to me. I've had several occassions that I have captured very precious moments. Those kind of moments are rare to come by.

Because of those, I have decided to venture out. My main intention is to be able to capture those moments and document them for others so they'll have these treasures for the rest of their lives.

I am a photographer who specializes on natural light - with keen attention to location, lighting and other minute details inorder to yield beautiful and gorgeous photos that are worth hanging on your walls. But most importantly, I specialize in making the person/people in front of my camera the most special and important one. After all, it's all about you and those precious moments. Me and my camera are the support. YOU are the STAR in every shoot that I do. It is because at the end of the session, YOU are what matters.

Click It Up A Notch – July

It’s that time of the month again. For the month of July, where did I clicked up a notch? I guess it’s expected that with the Fourth of July celebration, photographers will display their best firework shots. I gotta be honest, I have yet to capture that best firework photo that will just make you say “ahhh” and “ooohhh” and “wow”. Maybe next year is the year for me to do that!

In my case, I’ll reserve the firework shots in my personal facebook page. They were photos that were not focused on the fireworks but rather on how we enjoyed lighting them. Fireworks + family is always fun.

I regularly take photos of people or objects that fascinate me. This month is quite different. I happen to take a photo of a “man’s best friend”. Meet Ms. Maggie. She is my husband’s cousin’s Boston Terrier. She is fun and a happy canine. Just don’t take her ball away from her or she’ll bark right back at you!

During our Fourth of July fun at my in-laws, while I was snapping photos of the kids playing with the water, I happen to point my camera to Maggles. She looked at me. She probably knew what I was doing because after that, she just stood still and continue to stare at me while I kept clicking.
